Delete your account from the app
You can delete your Aukilo account at any time, directly from the mobile app:
- Open Aukilo on your phone.
- Go to the Profile → Settings → Delete my account tab.
- Confirm by checking the consent box and typing the word DELETE.
- Validate: your account is deleted immediately and you are logged out.
Delete your account by email
If you no longer have access to the app, send an email from the address associated with your account to contact@aukilo.com with the subject “Account deletion”.
We process the request within 7 days maximum and confirm the deletion by reply email. For security reasons, the request must be sent from the email address linked to the account.
Deleted data
When you delete your account, we remove:
- Your account ID and email address.
- Your display name, profile picture and bio.
- Your city and default location.
- Your personal scan history.
- Your price alerts and favorite stores.
- Your favorite products and notification history.
- Your push notification tokens.
- The photos you uploaded (report proofs, product photos, share cards).
- Your referral codes and personal share links.
Data kept in anonymized form
To preserve the integrity of the service provided to the community, the following contributions are kept in anonymous form (with no link to you):
- The prices you recorded and shared (the link to your ID is permanently broken).
- The reports (shrinkflation, misleading deal, etc.) you published.
- The confirm/reject votes you cast on reports.
This anonymization complies with Article 17 of the GDPR (right to erasure) and Article 5 (data minimization): data of interest to the community can be kept as long as it no longer allows you to be identified.
Export your data before deletion
You can download all your personal data in JSON format before deleting your account, from Profile → Settings → Export my data in the app.
Irreversible effects
Account deletion is permanent. If you create a new account later with the same email address, it will be a new, empty account: your past history and contributions cannot be restored.
