Version 1.4 is our biggest update since launch. It opens the Scout to everyone, teaches the app to recognise the shop you walk into, rethinks the product page, and takes Aukilo beyond France. Here is what changed.

The Scout, now for everyone

Our shopping assistant is no longer reserved for Aukilo+: five questions a day are free for all, with no subscription.

From a recipe to a list: ask for lasagne for four and it fills your list with the right sizes at the best price.
Shops open right now around you, with their real opening hours.
The cheapest petrol station on your route, diesel or unleaded.
And still today's deals and the trend behind a price.

The app knows which shop you are in

When you arrive, the home screen becomes the retailer's: its catalogue, its prices, its fuel.
Nothing switches behind your back: the app first asks whether you really are shopping there.
An optional reminder can alert you on arrival, with your list and the deals of that shop.

A product page that decides with you

A verdict at the top of the screen, then the three decisions that matter: change size, change brand, go next door.
No more tabs to explore: everything sits on one page, in order of importance.
A price-per-kilo scale places what you pay against the market, at a glance.

Lists that think in needs

Write "coffee" or "washing powder": Aukilo picks the product and the shop, at the best price per kilo.
"Plan my shop" compares several ways of splitting the basket between shops and shows what each one saves.
The list works without a connection: tick items in the aisle, everything syncs when you are back online.

Loose goods, straight from the shelf label

Products sold without a barcode can now be recorded straight from the shelf label, without going through the scanner.

Aukilo opens in sixteen countries

The app leaves France for Europe: Austria, Belgium, Czechia, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Local retailers, local products, and prices in each country's currency — Swiss francs, pounds, zlotys, crowns, forints, lei.
The app follows your phone's language, across thirteen languages.
