Version 1.6 helps you keep track of your shopping, and do it together: a budget that fills up with your receipts, a tab for checking prices as a community, and lists shared live.
Your grocery budget
- In “My budget”, choose a weekly or monthly amount, and your payday if you like.
- Your receipts add up, split aisle by aisle. No receipt? “I bought without a receipt” records the purchase by hand.
- An alert warns you at 80% and again at 100%, and the history keeps every period.
- The “Grocery budget” widget keeps what you have left on your home screen.
The new Community tab
- Missions: a few prices to check in your favourite or nearby shops, with no time limit. Each completed mission leads to another.
- Product missing? “Not on the shelf?” replaces it with another price to check.
- In store, “While you're here” shows the prices to check on the spot: those from your missions, and those other people nearby are waiting for.
- The ranking brings together your city's contributors, for the month or all time. You can stay anonymous.
- New badges for missions, helping others and product pages. All badges have been redrawn, with a gold level for the hardest ones.
Shopping together
- Share a list by link or email, with up to four people: everyone can add to it and tick it off live.
- With Aukilo+, you can also keep a household budget, for up to four people. Each purchase goes into the budget you choose.
Quicker receipts
- Each line to identify takes one gesture: a single suggestion, or a scan of the product. Products without a barcode have their own path.
- “Finish this receipt” leads to a summary. Discounts stand out on the receipt and come off the amount paid, multi-buy offers included.
Search and product pages
- Search shows the lowest price per kilo for each product. On its page, “Near me” keeps only your area.
- Product pages add “Lowest price seen”, and “National price” for chains with a single price.
- Unknown product? “Create the product page” reads your photos and prepares the page, which you check before sending it to us.
- No price yet? “Let me know when a price is recorded” alerts you at the first one.
Lists and L'Éclaireur
- “Plan my shopping” shows the total of each scenario in large type, and what it contains.
- Text shared to Aukilo, such as a list from a recipe site, opens L'Éclaireur: you check it, then send it.
And also
- The home screen brings together your budget and what's left “To do”.
- The question about which shop you're in now only comes within 100 m, and never when the shop is closed.
- Links from the web app open the app, and share cards have been redone.
- Price per metre arrives for foil and cling film. Various fixes and improvements.
